Senior Occupational Therapy Assistant

We have an exciting vacancy for an Occupational Therapy Technical Assistant to join our friendly team. You’ll be passionate and keen to learn and develop in our busy, pro-active environment. We offer robust management supervision, regular team meetings and clinical support from across the team. Evidence-based practice is embedded and CPD is actively encouraged. We work across schools, clinics and within the home, with carers and families, education staff and other professionals. If you have are positive, enthusiastic and keen to help us develop our service in this current climate of change then we are keen to hear from you! - You will enjoy working with children with a range of needs including complex needs, in groups and individually. - You will work alongside Occupational Therapists to support the assessment and clinical intervention of children. - You will be a great team player and work well with other practitioners, as well as being able to work autonomously and independently in a range of settings. - You will have excellent communication skills with children, families and other professionals and be able to explain complex information in a simple way. - You will be organised and competent to carry out a range of non-clinical duties such as housekeeping and admin tasks.
