Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. As a Sales Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records of sales transactions, ensuring timely invoicing, and facilitating smooth financial operations. Responsibilities: Process sales invoices accurately and efficiently. Monitor and reconcile sales transactions with customer accounts. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in sales records. Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts. Collaborate with internal departments to address customer queries and resolve billing issues. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements. Maintain organized and up-to-date sales ledger records. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions. Requirements: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a retail or fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment. Knowledge of basic accounting principles. A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn.
