Female Support Worker - Full Time Hours

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Female Support Worker to join our small service in Trowbridge, Wiltshire!For genuine occupational reasons we are looking to appoint a female candidate only (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9).Here in Trowbridge we are a small 3 bedded service, there are 3 lovely ladies that call Lilac Grove their home. The people you will support have various different challenges in their lives, our aim is to ensure they live the lives they choose. You must hold a full UK Drivers license, and willing to drive our Sense vehicle.Are you friendly, upbeat and enthusiastic? Would you be willing to learn alternative methods of communication to effectively support the people living here? Your priority will be empowering the people you support to live an independent life.This role in Trowbridge, Wiltshire might include supporting people with:Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.Personal care and hygiene.Finances.Medication and wellbeing.Going into the community for shopping or other trips.Their social life and nightlife.We support activities from the day to day things like washing and cleaning to swimming, visiting places of interest, day trips, theatre/cinema visits and exploring the beautiful countryside on our doorstep plus much more.Everyone we support is an individual, so their care is as unique as they are.
