Recruitment Coordinator

Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Campus: Trowbridge, Wiltshire/Remote Working (Hybrid) with occasional Cross Campus travel

Salary: £23,244 per annum (Professional Services Grade 5)

About You

We are looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our in-house recruitment team. You will ideally have a recruitment or HR background and experience of all types and level of recruitment, including internal/external permanent vacancies, agency staff, casual and off payroll working.

For this role you will need to be organised with the ability to manage multiple demands on your time, prioritising appropriately. As well as an effective problem solver, able to act on your own initiative.

About the role

Our recruiting line managers depend on our recruitment team to provide expertise to support them recruit the best possible people for their team.

Your focus will be to support the Recruitment Specialist to ensure we are promoting the college as an employer of choice, maximising opportunities to recruit using different recruitment channels and keeping our recruitment and selection processes under review. You will also ensure we complete all the necessary checks for our new starters and that our recruitment processes remain compliant within the Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance.

Key duties include:

  • Scheduling interviews.
  • Manage the onboarding process including offers, pre-employment checks, DBS checks etc.
  • Ensure that recruitment practices comply with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Attending job fairs and recruitment events as requested by the Recruitment Specialist.

The role is suitable for hybrid working, so there is the opportunity to have a mix of working in the office with your colleagues (Trowbridge campus) and working from home if this suits your circumstances.
