Our client, a warm and welcoming family based in Oxfordshire, is seeking a nurturing individual to join their household as a nanny. About the Family: We are a lively household with four wonderful children, aged between 12 and almost 3. Our family values balance, kindness, and creating a nurturing environment for our children to thrive. Additionally, we have a full-time housekeeper who supports with household tasks. Position Overview: We are seeking a nanny to commence mid-May to assist with childcare responsibilities. This is a shared care role with the mother, although there will be occasions where sole charge is required. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing attentive and compassionate care to our children, ensuring their well-being and engagement in various activities. Key Details: Start Date: Mid-May (ASAP)Hours: Initially Friday to Tuesday, 7 am to 7 pm. Schedule changes in September to Sunday to Thursday, 7 am to 7 pm.Accommodation: Provided with own bedroom and bathroom.Salary: Negotiable, commensurate with experience and qualifications.Requirement: Must be a driver (Non-negotiable).Pets: The family has 5 dogs, so being pet-friendly is essential.Responsibilities: Ensure the care and well-being of the children in collaboration with the motherPerform childcare duties such as meal preparation, engaging in recreational and educational activities, school runs, and appointmentsWork closely with the existing housekeeperQualifications and Requirements: Proven experience as a nanny or childcare provider.Genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.Ability to collaborate effectively with parents and other household staff.Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.Must have a DBS enhanced checkMust hold a valid First Aid certificationAbility to work independently and adapt to a dynamic family environmentGood EnglishAvailability to work on a flexible schedule as per the family’s needsMust be comfortable with pets.
