Location : Witney, Witney Community Hospital

Payrate : £10.90 per hour plus enhanced pay for nights, weekends and bank holidays

Shift Pattern : Monday-Friday (18:15 - 23:00 or 20:00 - 08:00 or 20:00 - 23:00 or 23:00 - 08:00)

Saturday and Sunday (08:00-13:00 or 13:00-18:00 or 18:00-23:00 or 20:00 - 8:00)

About the Trust

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is a community-focused organisation that provides physical and mental health services and social care with the aim of improving the health and wellbeing of all our patients and their families. Our trust provides community health, mental health and specialised health services. We operate across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Swindon, Bath and Northeast Somerset (BaNES).

Main role : This is a dual role, A driver required, and cover reception as needed. They will not be required to cover both roles at the same time unless they are working overnight, in which case they will be asked to cover for both. This is a 7day service.

Company car will be provided

This is a Temporary Role

What you’ll be responsible for :

  • Drivers will go out with the service car to accompany GPs or Nurses to the home visits. They need to check that all the equipment and drugs are available in the car before going out and, if necessary, chaperone on request (specific training and shadowing shifts provided).
  • Receptionist will need to greet the patients and add them to the system (Adastra) if they have not been added by 111. All admin tasks required: Inbox monitoring and answering the Health Care Professional line.
  • You will be required to travel between sites and to regional meetings.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare children, young people and venerable adults.

You’ll have the following skills/experience :

  • Hold full UK driving licence
  • System knowledge - Satellite Navigation system and Adastra
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent commination skills
  • Excellent origination skills
  • Basic computer and admin skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised and with a team
