Main responsibilities :

  • To produce correspondence at the direction of the headmaster.
  • To organise the headmaster’s calendar, making any travel or online arrangements as appropriate.
  • To take minutes of meetings and distribute as appropriate as well as producing the schedule and agendas in a timely manner.
  • Producing informative leaflets, letters and reports for half-term, to parents to the prescribed schedule.
  • To oversee the Scholarships calendar (awards and appraisal), managing the documentation and correspondence.
  • To manage Speech Day under the direction of the Deputy Head.
  • To cover the school reception as necessary.
  • To oversee the annual cycle of Senior Team meetings, informing staff in a timely manner.

Requirements :

  • Supportive of the School’s Christian ethos.
  • Good communication skills (both written and IT) and an understanding of the importance of good PR.
  • Good general knowledge of office practice and procedures
