As a Site Optimisation Manager you will be responsible for the successful delivery of change across the site from central & depot initiatives, through the optimisation of processes. Drive continuous improvement processes Identifies areas of improvement and engages the appropriate stakeholders to achieve measurable results Planning and organising projects with people and safety at the heart of decision making. Share best practice with other sites to improve overall business standard Responsible for operational processes. Maintain and improve methods & performance levels to maximise efficiency of operation in line with account KPI's. Ensure all requirements relating to safety, health, environment and quality are being fully implemented in the warehouse or escalate. Who You’ll Be Thorough knowledge and hands on experience of a warehouse function within the FMCG Distribution Industry. A background operating at a management level is a must. A passion for encouraging teamwork, focusing on creating an innovative culture where all employees can voice their suggestions and ideas. Excellent team project management skills. An analytical mind-set. An ability to drive a program of continuous improvement. Experience in creating process improvement methods You'll come in to contact with Trade Unions (previous experience with this would be beneficial) Some flexibility Preferred: Continuous improvement experience (lean / six-sigma) or project management qualification Why Gist?
