Bid Manager

Bid Manager- required to join a specialist design and engineering company based in Motherwell. This is an excellent opportunity for a BIM Manager to join a well-established, award winning multi disciplinary company. TheBIM Manager will be assisting in the delivery of high quality proposals and tender submissions for both the UK and Europe working on complex infrastructure, process and built environments projects.

The BIM Manager will have at least 3+ years of experience in a bid environment in any industry and be looking to fast track their career in a well-established business. The BIM Manager will have strong written and verbal communication skills with the abilityto liaise with a variety of people at different levels with sound knowledge of the bid process and bid best practice.

Bid ManagerPosition Overview

• Support the full lifecycle of the bid process, from opportunity identification, development of strategy through to interview and handover to operations
• Prepare high-quality PQQ responses, proposals, tender submissions and presentations
• Support to the wider Bid & Marketing Team
• Contribute to administering the shared mailbox and managing opportunity notifications
• Win strategies and storyboard development
• Prepare EOIs, PQQs, proposals, ITTs
• Ensure the governance process and company procedures are followed for every bid
• Bid management, including feeding into the strategy of the bid
• Maintaining and updating a library of CVs
• Some travel to other UK and Europe offices may be required as and when needed

Bid ManagerPosition Requirements

• Degree educated in a relevant discipline
• 3+ years of experience in a bid environment in any industry
• Knowledge of the bid process and bid best practice
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to be creative in both writing and presentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn and undertake further training

Bid ManagerPosition Remuneration

• Salary £35k - £45k
