Health and Social Care Trainer/assessor

We are appointing a qualified Trainer with experience of delivering Health and Social Care training in a classroom environment. Responsibilities Deliver supportive and inclusive learning opportunities in a face-to-face classroom environment to learners within the health and social care sector and provide regular feedback on progress and development. Maintain up-to-date records that demonstrate individual and collective progress and attendance. Continuously improve your own knowledge and understanding of developments within the health and social care sector and ensure that this is shared with colleagues for the benefit of all learners. Requirements Experience of working in a health and social care setting, and a good knowledge of sector-specific practices and regulations A passion for teaching and supporting learners to achieve their full potential, with experience of coaching, mentoring, and inspiring others. The ability to be flexible with delivery methods and be able to adapt quickly to meet learners needs. Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively, with excellent organisational and time management skills. A strong communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with learners, employers, and colleagues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and an adaptable approach to work. You will follow schemes of work but have the flair to make them your own, and deliver encouraging, nurturing and motivational training. A commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct at all times, and an enthusiasm for continual professional development and lifelong learning. Essential Criteria: Must hold own NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care. Confident in Maths and English Must hold a recognised level 3 teaching qualification (PTLLS or equivalent / above) or Assessors award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA). Must have occupational experience within Health and Social Care. Must be comfortable delivering remote online training and face to face, 1:1 and group-based as required. Must be IT literate, with confidence to deliver via video platforms e.g. Teams/Zoom.  Experience in classroom training is highly desirable Organisational skills are a must Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
