Role: Junior Marketing Exec Role Profile

Reporting to: Senior Marketing Manager

Time allocation: Full time (Monday - Friday)

Location: Home-based (weekly visits on site)

Education preference: University preferred, but not essential if work experience is sufficient

Additional requirements: Full driver’s license

**Main Objectives To make a significant contribution to the success of our clients marketing by promoting the seven

businesses through various marketing channels, initiatives, and campaigns, helping them to achieve

their annual business targets.

Main Experience Required

  • Marketing industry experience of at least one year, within a business, with a total understanding of the function of a marketing department
  • Familiar at updating websites via a CMS, although training will be provided
  • Confident with Mailchimp for EDM creation, follow up processes and reporting
  • Social media management and content creation (specifically LinkedIn and Facebook for business and Instagram)
  • Commercially minded.
  • Excellent content writing skills, predominantly for online use
  • Good reporting and analysis skills
  • Fully computer literate (Microsoft suite)
  • Some photoshop experience for graphic creation for digital use (i.e. website banners, social media graphics, digital mail banners etc.) All design for printed literature is outsourced.
  • Video creation (including product ‘how to’s) and editing. Confident using Canva or alternative platforms.
  • Photography (including product/service images, and staff shots)
  • Paid social media experience preferred, but not essential
  • Basic understanding of SEO preferable, but not imperative.

Key responsibilities and areas of accountability

  • Working with marketing coordinators and the Group Marketing team to develop annual marketing plans and update/amend these where necessary in line with agreed KPIs
  • Monthly creation of content, developing a positive approach to news for onward
  • communication. Content includes blogs, articles, news pieces, case studies and service/product content.
  • Update the websites (content only, not coded templates/design), always working closely with Group Marketing to ensure technical and brand accuracy
  • With Group Marketing, manage the social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram) and ensure that this activity reflects the marketing strategy as per the annual Marketing Plan. This will involve forward planning, creative content creation (video,photography, graphics etc ), posting and reporting
  • EDM and DM capability to work with templates and Mailchimp to develop an annual programme of activity that reflects business strategy for each business. Work with Group Marketing to develop monthly EDM/DM for each business
  • Support with additional and ad-hoc marketing projects when required. This may include events, networking, launching new products/services, literature creation etc.
  • Play a proactive role in monthly marketing meetings across the group, ensuring that allocated tasks are actioned in a timely manner as agreed
  • Support with database growth across the group when required.
  • Generation of new marketing incentive and initiatives that will support the businesses with their objectives.
