General Operative

Title: General Operative / Labourer

The Best Connection are looking for a General Operative on days potentially on a temporary to permanent assignment for one of their prestigious and expanding client in the Stafford Park area with starting pay of £ 10.50ph.

Working Hours for days are :

• Monday to Thursday 6 am-16:30 pm
• Friday 6 am-14:30 pm
• 48 guaranteed hours per week (1st 39 hrs are paid at £10.50 and remaining 9 hrs at £13.97 ph)
• Possible full time role after completion of 12 worked weeks
• Immediate starts available

Requirements and responsibilities :

• Working on the punch presses
• General Labouring
• Assembling using hand and power tools
• Some heavy lifting up to 25 kg - feeding machines with steel which varies in size and weight

Preferred Education and Experience

• minimum 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience
• Awareness and quality system awareness

Skills & Experience Required :

• Minimum of 6 month experience or working on assembly lines and punch presses ideally with steel :

• Be able to work on your own or within a team.

• Be able to lift a weight up to 25 kg

• Possess a ‘can do’ attitude
