Position: Inclusion Support Officer Start Date: Immediate (ASAP) Duration/Expected Duration: 1 year, with potential for extension End Date: Not specified Contract Type: Temporary, with possibility for permanent employment Work Schedule: Full-time positions only Minimum Daily Rate: £150 per day Working Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm (full day) Join our team as an Inclusion Support Officer and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students. You'll contribute to a supportive environment through various tasks such as patrolling, conducting searches and wanding, and maintaining detailed records. Your engagement with students will be guided by established behavior strategies, fostering boundaried relationship building, and active participation in student-focused discussions. Key Responsibilities: Safety and Security: Contribute to maintaining a safe environment for students by conducting patrols, searches, and wanding as needed. Keep accurate records of activities. Engagement: Build positive relationships with students within clear boundaries, utilizing established behavior strategies to foster engagement. Facilitation: Participate in student-focused discussions, contributing valuable insights and support to promote a positive learning environment. Compassionate Approach: Approach interactions with students from a trauma-informed and compassionate perspective, recognizing and responding to their individual needs. Requirements: Experience in behavior management and conflict resolution. Friendly and approachable demeanor, with excellent communication skills.
