About the Role : We are looking for a Management Apprenticeship Trainer to develop and deliver outstanding training in line with the Level 5 Operations or Departmental Manager Apprenticeship standard and our internal leadership framework. You must be passionate about learning,have a flair for creating engaging and innovative content and a talent for delivering inspiring training and coaching. You will need to be bold, agile, organised and a strong collaborator to ensure the programme meets the needs of our business and our colleagues.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Design and develop a bespoke training programme for our upcoming Managers that successfully develops their knowledge, skills and behaviours
  • Work closely with our quality assurance and compliance teams to ensure all internal and external requirements are met
  • Implement and deliver a high quality training programme, offering a blended learning approach that meets the needs of our business and colleagues
  • Measure learners ‘distance travelled’ through carefully planned assessment methods that are valid, reliable and objective
  • Tailor and individualise your approach to ensure all colleagues needs are met and that equity and inclusivity are promoted
  • Monitor and review learners progress closely and maintain accurate records to support management reporting and audit requirements
  • Build strong relationships with all learners and their Managers and ensure expert information, advice and guidance is provided and issues are dealt with timely and effectively
  • Provide high quality coaching and meaningful feedback to learners that motivates and supports progression
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across our training department to ensure alignment with our strategy and our high quality standards
  • Continually evaluate and measure the impact of training and proactively engage in continuous improvement activities and projects
  • Role model our H&B values and behaviours

The Person : You will hold a recognised teaching or training qualification at level 3 or above and have vocational experience in the area of leadership and management along with experience in the design, development and delivery of management training.

  • Experienced facilitator of learning, with excellent coaching and feedback skills
  • Drive and enthusiasm to support learners
  • Ability to initiate and manage key partnerships
  • Self-reliant and able to manage own workload with excellent organisational and planning skill
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team as required
  • Use of Office 365 to design sessions and to build resources. (the majority of which will be formalised by the design team) and to create and share communication and delivery plans
  • Experience of using e-portfolios such as Onefile
