Denbies Wine Estate, one of the largest vineyards in the UK is set in the heart of the Surrey Hills, an area known for its outstanding natural beauty. Denbies pride itself as one of the finest venues in Surrey. With a diverse portfolio of restaurants, cafes and banqueting events we are committed to excellence in every aspect of our operation.

We currently have an opportunity to recruit talented and passionate chefs at all levels to join our culinary team. As a Chef at Denbies Wine Estate, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills, using your creativity and culinary expertise across various settings, including restaurants, banqueting, and special events.

This role is also open to school leavers and graduates looking to start their careers in the catering industry. Hospitality Apprenticeships are offered for all levels of chefs.

Responsibilities

· Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specifications and company standards.

· Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.

· Collaborate with team members to develop innovative menus.

· Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

· Work efficiently under pressure and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements:

· Previous experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen environment. (for CDP levels and above)

· Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines.

· Attention to detail and passion for delivering exceptional food quality.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

· Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable.
