As a Readiness, Testing and Exercise Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the preparedness and effectiveness of Sky in facing various challenges and crises. You will be responsible for designing, planning, executing, and evaluating a range of tests and exercises aimed at assessing and improving the resilience of our systems, processes, and personnel. This role demands a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and senior leadership.

What you'll do:

  • Own, manage and support the delivery of the Emergency Readiness and Response exercise programme.

  • Support with the implementation of the readiness and response strategy by helping to shape and deliver key strategic documentation

  • Be part of the on-call rota for responding to serious incidents and emergencies.

  • Design realistic and challenging tabletop, functional, and full-scale exercises that simulate various crisis situations.

What you'll bring:
  • You have excellent communication skills with the ability to interface at all levels; confident, capable and credible in front of senior partners.

  • You have an excellent understanding of how to run a successful exercise and can demonstrate the value it adds.

  • Strong problem solver, able to analyse and understand issues, problems or challenges and develop solutions to them.

  • Has the proven ability to think outside of the box, challenge industry norms and adapt quickly to evolving requirements.

  • Strong stakeholder management, relationship building, influencing, facilitating, and presenting skills at every level of business.

  • Works iteratively, at a high tempo, delivering quickly and frequently to produce high quality documents and outputs which require little to no rework.

  • Is calm under pressure and can execute clear command & control measures in stressful situations.
