As Services Business Development Manager you will be:

  • Attending customer meetings to position Bytes services proposition, acting as a Subject Matter Expert and progressing opportunities to closure
  • Building relationships with internal Sales Managers and Account Managers
  • Ensuring Account Managers are fully cognisant of the proposition and have the ability to articulate it to customers
  • Supporting Account Managers through the sales cycle (from opportunity identification to closure)
  • Working consultatively with customers to build appropriate solutions, document proposals and commercialise
  • Collaborate with the Services Commercial Director and wider team to enhance the proposition
  • Meet and exceed financial targets and KPIs set by the business

ABOUT THE ROLE :

  • Key Responsibilities:_
  • Develop and nurture relationships across Bytes Account Teams on service sales to ensure a good understanding is maintained across the business - primary focus areas being SAM, Cloud Support & Cloud optimisation
  • Work strategically with Bytes Sales Managers to proactively engage with Account Teams in activities designed to identify opportunities and drive sales
  • Build a pipeline of services revenue and related technology sales
  • Track and report on services pipeline within CRM
  • Build and document proposals for customers
  • Attend customer Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Work collaboratively within team to build "thought leadership" content to enhance Bytes standing in the market
  • Individual Responsibilities:_
  • Sales:Attend and present at customer meetings (physical and virtual), position Bytes services, build proposals and drive opportunities to closure. Meet and exceed financial targets and other KPIs
  • Sales: Build a track services pipeline within CRM
  • Relationships:Develop relationships with Account Managers and Sales Manager in order to promote Bytes Services proposition and value
  • Content:Build proposal and though leadership material
  • Customer Management & Development: Proactive engage with customers to ensure high level of customer satisfaction and to ensure new opportunities are surfaced

ABOUT YOU:

  • Educated to A-Level with an A-C Grade in Maths & English - Essential
  • Greater than 5 years demonstrable experience in sales - ideally within services - Essential
  • Knowledge of Software Asset Management and Cloud computing - Essential
