Accounts Manager

CMA is currently working with an independent accountancy practice based in Dorking who are looking for an Accounts Manager to join their established, friendly team during a period of business growth. This Senior Manager role would be great for an existingmanager who feels they have hit a glass ceiling at their current firm and wants to see both immediate as well as long-term progression.

What will the role involve :

• Managing a diverse client base including ltd companies, partnerships, LLPs, Sole Traders and NFPs;
• Providing accounts, tax, audit (if desired) and assurance services;
• Providing both high level compliance and advisory services;
• An aspect of business development;
• Tax and business planning;
• Mentoring junior member of the team and workforce planning for juniors.
• ACCA / ACA Qualified;
• Demonstrable experience working in a UK accountancy practice in a managerial capacity;
• Preferably mixed exposure across accounts, audit and tax. Pure accounts experience would be strongly considered as this will make up the bulk of the role;
• Confident communicator with great organisational skills;
• Experience with Sage, Iris, Xero, Quickbooks and Excel highly desirable.
