We currently have a very exciting opportunity for a Cluster Director of Sales to Join the team in our brand new ibis styles and Mercure Paignton. With a combined bedroom count of 282 bedrooms and 3 meeting rooms the opportunity to sell theses spaces is limitless. Our sales team are natural born sellers and consistently deliver time and time again, were looking for a naturally positive, proactive, and hungry seller who can lead the team to continued success of the business, you will be a skilled collaborator with business acumen to optimize guest engagement and financial performance. Reporting to the Multi site general manager of the Mercure and ibis Styles Paignton. We're looking for a director of sales who is outgoing, sales driven and passionate about making our 2 hotels the number one destination in South Devon. You will be someone who has an extensive track record of delivering above and beyond budget targets. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements... To succeed in the role of Cluster Director of Sales, you will need the following qualities and skills.
Leadership Skills: Experience building and leading high-performing sales teams with a focus on achieving and surpassing targets. Strategic Thinker: A strategic mindset with the ability to contribute to the overall business strategy. Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Hospitality, other competitors, hotels and our local area. Hustler Mentality: A results-oriented individual with a proactive and determined approach to achieving goals. Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adaptable to changing market conditions
