Your newpany We are seeking an experienced KS2 Teacher for a friendly and inclusive primary school in the Bebington/Eastham area of the Wirral. The post is to cover maternity leave in a year 3 class, and is for one term starting in September 2024. Candidates must have previous experience of teaching key stage 2 classes, preferably including experience of teaching year 3 classes.Your new role As Year 3 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners and follow the national curriculum. You will also be expected to assess and monitor pupil progress, provide feedback and support, and work collaboratively with other staff and parents. You will also have the opportunity to take a role in extracurricular activities and in the wider life of the school.What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need to have:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentAn enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain oneEvidence of continuing professional developmentExcellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skillsExperience of teaching key stage 2 classes, ideally including year 3 classesA positive and enthusiastic attitudeAmitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenWe wee applications from experienced teachers from M2 to M6 scale.
