We work with high profile clients in innovative sectors, and we’ll help you embrace opportunities to keep learning as we grow our firm. Your RoleWorking closely with our Head of Financial Services, you will be responsible for taking TLT’s award-winning Financial Service sector offering to market. Your role will be to help to grow our revenue and reputation in this key sector and develop our outstanding client base. Reporting into the Head of Business Development, you will be directly supported by BD Executives and work closely with the wider Marketing and Business Development team. Your responsibilities will include:  Developing, implementing and regularly reviewing market plans and associated BD, marketing and client plans   Identifying sales opportunities, developing compelling market propositions and giving lawyers engagement ideas and tools.  Working with our lawyers and FutureLaw team to develop, package and promote new services and solutions  Developing your own network of clients, prospects and referrers and using these to share communications and support lead generation and relationship building activity  Designing market leading sales and marketing campaigns with support from our Knowledge Management, Comms and Campaign teams to position TLT to win work and convert sales opportunities  Developing a sales pipeline to progress and support conversion of opportunities from campaigns and other marketing activity  Managing a contact plan to ensure ongoing engagement with high value prospects.   Supporting our Client Engagement team in growing our Key and Sector Growth clients.  Managing our relationships with leading financial services industry bodies (e.g. UK Finance) and using these relationships to position TLT at the forefront of the sector.  Working with our Communications team to promote your sector through our website, social media channels, email marketing, PR and internal communications Managing and leading a team of Business Development Managers and Execs and the associated BD budget.  Your Skills and Experience Excellent knowledge of the Financial Services sector and experience of working with major financial institutions  Proven track record of helping organisations (ideally professional services) to grow their revenue and reputation  Ability to run effective sales and marketing campaigns  Enthusiastic, confident, pro-active, persistent and robust  Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills – able to present and communicate clearly, concisely and credibly  Client-centric ethic with respect to external and internal stakeholders  Good organisational skills – able to multi-task and strong time management skills  Able to work well under pressure and support on major projects to completion  Ability to assimilate large amounts of information quickly and an interest in learning  Experience of using a range of marketing technologies  Good humoured and positive outlook  Graduate or equivalent, ideally CIM qualified.  Your TeamThe Business Development & Marketing team are instrumental in creating awareness of our brand to identify and win new business opportunities as well as delivering for our existing clients. This involves establishing and nurturing relationships and using everything from events to media relations to tenders to explore new business ideas. Within the team, have specialists in: Business Development, Bids, Internal and External Communications, Campaigns, PR, Client Engagement, Marketing and Design and Marketing Operations.
