Are you looking for...A great salary of up to £68,000? We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in March, Cambridgeshire for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 40 hours per week. There will be no weekends or OOH work.Type: Small animalHours: Full time, 40 hours per weekOOH: NoneComputer system: MerlinConsultations: 15 minutesTeam: 3 vets and nursing teamThe roleThe position offers a variety of duties but would mainly be more of a consulting position. The role will involve diagnostics, lab testing, vaccinations, maintaining patient records and consultations.Flexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work-life balanceThe Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.About them:Small Animal Practice - long established practice with a great loyal client base.They have a family feel approach and enjoy working together and building strong relationships.They encourage clinical freedom and the development of special interests.They are fully equipped with facilities including Ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, in house laboratory along with consultation rooms.They have 3 certificate holding surgeons.They support personal development with a generous CPD allowance and encourage and support certificates and additional training.The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.Team culture:They have a supportive family feel working culture and ethos and enjoy social outings together.The team work together to support one another and enable each other to achieve goals and continue to develop their clinical skills and knowledge.They understand the difficulties that the vet industry can face, and they ensure that each member of staff support each other and strive each day to provide a positive and encouraging work environment.About you:They are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Vet who is happy to work closely with the rest of the team.The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills.
