We are now recruiting for an Apprenticeship Scheme Coordinator based at Market Drayton. Shifts : Monday - Friday, 09.00-17.00

Job Description :

  • Support the organisation of the apprentices assessment days
  • Attend OLAT Training
  • Adhoc support to the Apprenticeship Scheme Advisor
  • Administer the LGV Driver Licence Boot Camp (Gov funded)
  • Build up rapport and keep good relationships with suppliers First point of contact for any Apprenticeship queries. Resolved in a timely manner.
  • Assist the research of the new government schemes.
  • Collate any reports that are required by Managers and upkeep on trackers
  • Any other administrative duties
  • Attend Apprenticeship Assessment days

Qualifications :

  • Essential skills in LGV C&E Driving License Qualified to Advanced driving level would be desirable
  • Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information to trainees
  • Excellent attention to detail/ accuracy.
  • Full understanding of driver’s hours regulations, Working Time Directive and the use of Tachograph
  • Knowledge of vehicle telematics
  • Comprehensive understanding of transport, drivers and plant operation legislation, transport related COSHH and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Adaptable approach to work/ training.
  • Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information to trainees.
  • Able to work without direct supervision
  • Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Effectively priorities work load in order to meet set deadlines
  • Relationship building skills
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • LGV Assessment Qualification would be desirable
