Role Requirements :

• Implementing and monitoring behaviour management strategies to support students with challenging behaviour.
• Providing guidance and support to students in managing their emotions and developing positive behaviour patterns.
• Providing one-to-one mentoring and counselling to students who may be struggling with behavioural issues, emotional well-being, or social skills.
• Supporting the inclusion of students with behavioural difficulties in mainstream education.
• Working with the school's inclusion team to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.
• Monitoring and evaluating the progress of students in relation to behaviour goals and objectives.
• Intervening in crisis situations involving student behaviour and working to de-escalate conflicts and ensure the safety of students and staff.
• Experience supporting students with challenging behaviours
• Ability to engage and build rapport with disengaged students at risk of mainstream exclusion
• Relevant qualification - degree, social work or relatable
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and pastoral staff
• Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and support a range of diverse needs

Job Types : Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: £20,000.00-£22,500.00 per year
