Job Overview

The Medical Evidence Processor will be responsible for managing all tasks that support the pre and post-return of medical evidence.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for triaging and actioning daily post
  • Processing Invoices
  • Uploading returned medical reports onto case management system
  • Triaging returned medical evidence prior to upload
  • Filing and securely discarding of manual reports received via post, in accordance with the retention guidelines
  • Accurately scanning returned medical evidence
  • Disposing of confidential materials
  • Posting all outgoing medical report requests
  • Processing of advanced payments
  • Managing fee disputes
  • Working to daily, weekly and group targets and SLA’s.

Preferred skills and experience

  • Experience of working in the insurance or health care sector is desirable
  • Accustomed to working in a call centre environment and making a high number of outbound calls, working in line with daily, weekly and group targets and SLA’s.
  • Good telephone manner and communication skills
  • Good multitasking skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise your workload to the required standard and within the required timescales
  • Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proactive and able to use initiative
  • Good attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Good organisation skills

Following a successful probationary period, the role will be made permanent.
