Position Overview:
To ensure the accurate and timely production and submission of all tax returns and supporting information and provide advice to the business on tax issues.
To effectively manage the treasury function within Finning, with a focus on cash management, ensuring accurate liquidity reporting and forecasting is carried out and that all funds movements/payments are done so on a timely basis.
Job Description:
Provision of corporate and VAT taxation compliance and advisory services to Finning UK&I group of companies in line with UK&I laws as well as guidelines and procedures issued by Finning International Inc. (40%)
Provide timely and accurate tax provision calculations to support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements (10%)
Understand, manage and supervise all aspects of cash flow, liquidity, banking and foreign exchange for Finning UK&I group of companies in line with guidelines and procedures issued by Finning International Inc. (30%)
Provision of import / export compliance and advisory services to Finning UK&I group of companies in accordance with UK&I customs regulations (10%)
Timely and accurate processing and reporting of capital expenditure including fixed asset register administration in accordance with relevant accounting standards and taxation laws. (10%)
