A rare opportunity for an experienced Organisational Design & Development Lead professional to take the lead in helping our client, a 2nd generation family owned and very successful business, to develop a stronger employee centric culture, with a particularfocus on innovation and empowerment.Based in the advanced manufacturing sector with a forward-thinking ethos, the company wants to ensure that its people are consistently at the heart of its continued evolution. As the Organisational Design & Development Lead, you will work autonomously whilst remaining very much part of the senior leadership team and prepare and support the business through the next stage of its growth, ensuring that the product design and developmentrequired by customers is delivered through an enhanced approach to people development and increasing the team as needed. - Review and analyse the current organisation to gain insight and understanding of the big picture - Translate those insights into recommendations and actions, creating and agreeing the plan for delivery - Align the key elements of strategy and organisational structure to include roles and responsibilities, and process across the business, to ensure a consistent approach in every business function - Engage all areas of the business in the change programme through workshop facilitation - Identify skills gaps and introduce succession planning tools to underpin the future needs of the business - Work towards creating and embeddinga coaching culture tomeet the company’s long-term goals - Can demonstrate significant organisational development and change management experience and skills, either from an HR perspective or gained from a solid Operational Management background with a particular focus on people - Has a background in a manufacturing environment combining production, technical and IT aspects - Is able to work with, and engage, stakeholders at all levels of the organisation - Has a working knowledge of ERP systems - Possesses knowledge of the impact of change on quality, plus health and safety systems - Shows strong evidence of CPD - Is experienced at problem solving within interdisciplinary teams - Is skilled in the art of presenting to a variety of audiences If this sounds like the interesting challenge you’ve been waiting for,we would love to hear from you before the closing date of 16th January 2023.
