Associate Study Director - Physical Analytical Chemistry

Our varied work supports the crop protection, chemical and pharmaceutical industries so if you want to be part of a dynamic and growing team then please apply today.The main responsibilities will include:Undertake the role of Study Director/Analytical Principal Investigator for assigned studiesPrepare and check Study Plans/Analytical Phase Plans, data and reportsApprove analytical methods ensuring they are fit for purpose and reflect the conditions established during method set-up/developmentPrepare analytical reports ensuring they reflect the work undertaken and any conclusions drawn are accurateAssist in problem resolution and provide advice to colleagues in solving analytical problemsLiaise with other collaborating departments to ensure effective conduct of projectsAssist in the preparation or revision of Standards Operating ProceduresRespond to clients placing analytical projects, establishing client requirements, developing Study Plans, liaising on day-to-day issues and ensuring that communications meet client expectationsProvide expert advice on analytical results to colleagues and clients, maintaining awareness of current trends, issues and developmentsEnsure procedures associated with Study Director/Principal Investigator appointment, master schedule entries and QA audit of study plans and amendments are adhered to.Ensure GLP compliance of systems and procedures and that quality of work/data meet required standardsThis is a totally office-based roleWe offer:Competitive salary and benefits package including health cover and contributory pensionA culture of CARE with access to well-being programs and various employee resource groupsUnrivalled opportunities to develop a successful career in the scientific industry within an experienced and stable team with exposure to global clientsExcellent relocation package (subject to criteria)Education:BSc in Chemistry related subject.
