As a Fire Door Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the required building access is arranged and provided for the perpetual Fire Door Inspections, Repairs, and Replacements.

You will liaise with the relative customer personnel and fellow partners, to arrange for the necessary and required access to work on scheduled buildings. This will mean working alongside and with the Contract Coordinator to enable the smooth running ofthe Fire Door Contract.

As a result, you should have excellent organisation and communications, to be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the Client and the Contracting staff/Engineers and should be proactive and reactive in response to daily requirements.

You will also be required to maintain and log records where and when necessary and must be able to stay focused and work in a safe manner in accordance with legislation and the company’s 'Safety First’ value.

You must have a fully valid UK driving licence and GCSE in Maths & English. You must also have or be eligible to have MoD Security clearance.

Proven experience using a handheld PDA equipment and working in a maintenance environment will also be desirable, as well as working knowledge of a MOD or military environment.
