As the HR Advisor, you will be the first point of call for line managers, offering advice and support with employee relations and performance management.

Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you will ensure all employees and managers are supported. Alongside this, you will work with the wider People Services Team to ensure that policies are consistent and HR queries are dealt with efficiently.

In addition, you will need to ensure effective case management of people related issues such as: disciplinary, performance management, grievance and absence management, and support the HR team with taking notes and hearings.

This means that you should be personable, with strong communication and relationship building capabilities, verbal, and written communication skills, practical and able to solve problems quickly, as well as able to work under pressure and to deadlines. This role will include 2 days per week to work remotely.

Ready to join the team?

You must have a level 3 or level 5 CIPD qualification, or at least working towards it, and a fully valid UK Driving Licence.

You should also have proven work experience as a HR Advisor with working knowledge of all Employee Relations matters, be able to advise and work with senior members of staff and have knowledge of employment legislation.

You may also have knowledge of Trade Unions, but this is not essential.
