Overview:You will be working as part of the Dorking-based structural engineering team, focusing on an engaging portfolio of projects in the UK and internationally. You would work on anything from Residential, Leisure, Education, Industrial, Commercial and Hospital/Health projects. This is a real chance to gain more autonomy and use your design and construction knowledge!The Project / Senior Structural Engineer will have:Chartered status with the Institution of Structural Engineers or the Institution of Civil Engineers is beneficial but not essentialWork independently and as part of a team, offering creative solutionsProduce calculations, models, reports, and presentations to an excellent standard, on time and to budgetShare your work for review by senior colleagues and review the work of others for quality assuranceLead teams, making timely decisions, and corrective actions, fostering an atmosphere that delivers excellent workCollaborate with external clients and seize opportunities to engage other internal discipline designersActively maintain an external and internal networkConduct Surveys and write ReportsProject / Senior Structural Engineer Skills:Minimum 2 years UK building structures design experienceStrong design knowledge and use of using British and European codes of practiceExperience in using MasterSeries is advantageousExperience with TEDD software is good but not essentialA relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineeringStrong communication and writing skillsBenefits:25 Days annual leave37.5 hour working week with flexible start and finish times - earliest start at 8am earliest finish is at 4pm CPD Courses availableRegular staff socials This workplace are keen to make everyone feel valued, challenged, and heard.
