Are you an experienced Supply Chain Manager looking for a new challenge? Jefferson Wells would like to hear from you as we are currently on the look out for 4 Supply Chain Managers to work for a global defence/technology business on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing team who have more than doubled their headcount in the last year. These roles have come about due to a number of internal moves within the business, demonstrating the focus on career progression withinthe business. You will be vital in ensuring that procurement projects are executed in a timely & efficient manner whilst ensuring maximum cost efficiency. About the employer? - Multinational Defence technology contractor - Servicing a variety of sectors including defence, aerospace, Oil & Gas to name a few - Headquarters in Farnborough, as well as multiple other UK sites - Recently awarded gold award status by the MOD - £1.2 billion revenue business What will you be doing? - Negotiating favourable terms, volume discounts & long term contracts with suppliers - Preparing & processing requisitions for the procurement of technical equipment, engineered products, systems, software's & components - Driving sourcing process, identifying risks & opportunities - Developing new supplier relationships to meet business aspirations - Collaborate with supply chain to identify opportunities to utilise supplier relationships to leverage group scale What are we looking for? - Experienced Supply chain/Procurement professional - Experience of procuring goods & services - Highly competent user of SAP and/or ERP systems - Confident communicator with ability to negotiate with & influence mid level technical stakeholders - CIPS Qualified and/or procurement/supply chain related degree - Knowledge of procurement systems & infrastructure
