Job Description BSL video: https://youtu.be/F0VEge5IkN4  CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT MANAGER  Working across a broad range of clients, the focus will be on creating new business opportunities and relationships with the Deaf community. . Responsibilities To increase market knowledge using sector specific lead generation To engage with the Deaf community to increase awareness of services To generate and qualify leads, both self-sourced and from existing sales pipeline To develop new business opportunities and stimulate new markets To understand our complimentary services and be able to confidently make recommendations, and successfully scope out solutions for new and existing clients To provide presentations to new and existing clients To provide effective account management and retention of a growing portfolio of clients     Qualifications Preferred skills/qualifications/experience Market development experience within interpretation and translation industry  Fluent in British Sign Language Good business and commercial acumen  The ability to produce professional and pertinent proposals The ability to develop and nurture effective business relationships with prospects, clients and in-house colleagues Professional and effective negotiation skills Clear, engaging, and confident presentation skills  The ability to manage a varied workload whilst meeting deadlines The drive to take responsibility and ownership for workload and performance Proficiency in all relevant IT packages A full driving licence is essential Additional Information Salary & Benefits Salary dependant on experience range circa 30k - 35k, dependant on experience plus target related bonus Benefits include, but are not limited to: Target related bonus 37.5 hour week Monday - Friday Hybrid working 20-25 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension scheme Attendance bonus  Health and Wellbeing schemes Worcestershire Works Well health and wellbeing level 1 accreditation  Policies to include Mental Health, Menopause and more Access to mental health specialist support Birthday celebrations/gifts Employee Assistance Programme Discounts and perks platform Team events Training 1 paid volunteering day per year Occupational Sick Pay (OSP) and (SSP) Work for an established company with 25 years in the industry Supportive and flexible employer Disability confident leader Real Living Wage Employer
