Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Boroughbridge. The successful candidate will have a passion for Science education and a proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics disciplines. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in accordance with the national curriculum. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and motivated to succeed. Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to inspire curiosity and promote critical thinking in Science. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development. Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider success of the Science department and the school community. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary school level, with a strong understanding of the UK curriculum. Excellent subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a conducive learning environment. Full-time availability preferred, but part-time candidates with flexibility will also be considered. Additional Information: This position is based in Boroughbridge, or candidates must be able to commute to Boroughbridge. Immediate start available for the right candidate. Pay rate between £140 - £160 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
