Test & Measurement Engineer - Repair / Calibration

Our client is an established global leader in test and technology solutions sector.

They have been pioneering customer focused solutions to the market and supply a huge range of equipment to a broad customer base.

Due to continued growth, they now require a Test and Measurement Engineer / Electronics Bench Repair Engineer to service, repair, test and calibrate a wide range of equipment covering the spectrum DC - optical.

THE ROLE

  • You will calibrate a wide variety of test & measurement equipment via automated and manual calibrations.
  • Perform measurements in test and provide technical support on a range of test & measurement equipment.
  • Perform calibrations using metrology calibration software such as Fluke Metcal, Mudcats, Surecal, Kaelus, Narda & PC Tel etc.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.

THE INDIVIDUAL

  • Calibration experience of a wide range of test & measurement equipment covering mHz to Optical namely Telecom, RF & GPTE.
  • You will probably have a City & Guilds or NVQ / ONC/OND / HNC/HND / Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • You will have ideally experience of working in a Calibration Laboratory / UKAS / NAMAS calibration laboratory.

A salary to £36,000 p.a. depending on experience + 5% bonus paid quarterly + excellent package including 23 days holiday rising to 30 days after 10 years service, + paid overtime, free parking, pension scheme + access to free advice from an independent financialadviser + private medical scheme + permanent health insurance, death in service cover. 37.5 hour week 9.00 a.m. - 5.30 p.m. with 1 hour for lunch.
