The right candidate will produce high-quality 3D models and accompanying technical drawings and CNC files. Providing sound technical support, knowledge and estimations to the sales department.What’s on offer? Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 dependent upon experienceHours of work: Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:30 and Friday 08:00 – 16:0023 days holiday plus bank holidaysPension SchemeDiscounted gym membershipCompany eventsUniformFree parking Key responsibilities of the role: Create 3D models and accompanying technical drawingsWorking with production documentation and interpreting customer instructionOffline programmingProvide timings for the sales departmentQuality checking own workAmend existing partsDealing directly with customers when requiredMaintain Drawing Office Standards The successful candidate: Proven ability to use SolidWorks (or similar 3D package)Experience with Artube programming package advantageousExperience with TruTops/Trumpf design and programming package would be advantageousTube Laser, flat bed laser, punch press programming experience is desirableExperience with Radan, Dr Abe, AutoCAD would be desirableProven ability to read, interpret and understand technical drawingsProven ability to use measuring equipmentGood time management skillsExcellent level of attention to detailEager and willing to learn new skillsCustomer service focusedAble to communicate well at all levels both written and verbally.
