Le poste The Site EHS Coordinator is responsible for all EHS tasks related to health, safety and environmental hazards.At site level as well as administrative needs for recordkeeping, audits, and training for EHS on site.The below duties and responsibilities represent both site level and corporate:Continuous monitoring of industry regulatory standards and best practices.Develop safety guidelines and related environmental, health and safety communications and educational information.Review all near misses and incidents which occur along with assisting with events:(near misses and incidents)investigation processand preventive/corrective actions.Communicate and share the near misses and incidents on site as well as lessons learned and opportunities for improvementsCoordinate on site deficiencies and safety inspectionsEnsure inspections by regulatory agencies are coordinated and deficiencies are minimized and correctedMaintain all logs and documentation associated with permits and regulatory requirementsMaintain and update as needed SOP’s for all safe work practices and equipmentReporting of Site Metrics and EHS KPIsMaintain filing systems regarding EHS policy and programsPractice safe working techniques and re-enforce the EHS policies, guidelines, and procedures as set out by the CompanyProvide advice and assist with the effective implementation of EHS PoliciesProvide guidance and direction in EHS programs at the employee / supervisor level to ensure a common and effective approachANCILLARY TASKS:Execute any additional tasks as requiredAttend training as requiredAssist other employees as necessaryEnsure health and safety standards are maintained at all timesMaintain workspace in a neat and tidy fashionParticipate in site projects as required Profil recherché EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety, or related field is desired.3 or more years of relevant EHS experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Safety Certification/s (CSP, ASP, SMS, OHST, CHST, STS, STSC, CET, NEBOSH) is a plus.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload.Comprehensive knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices.SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC.:Leadership skills.Ability to foster teamwork.Oral and written communication skills.Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills.Analytical skills as well as a strong attention to detail.Technical expertise.Working knowledge of EHS regulations.Working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.Language:You should be comfortable speaking reading and writing in English. Soft Ware &Tools to MasterVelocity EHSNB: The client does not accept an application requiring adminisistrative procedures for a work autorization.
