Job Description Senior Planner Our client is growing and looking for a Senior Planner to join their team and is looking for the right person with relevant experience. You will support the Project Manager and / or Planning Lead through project coordination to ensure achievement of all planning deliverables in a timely manner and on budget, in line with the agreed project programme. You will be educated to a Master's level (desired) or Bachelor level (essential) in relevant subject such as Geography, Planning or Environmental Sciences (or similar) and we would like you to be a member of, or working towards membership, in a relevant Professional Institution. As role requires attendance at client meetings and our UK offices, you should hold a UK Driving licence (or one acceptable to our insurers). Key responsibilities and accountabilities: You will be planning lead on SECTION 37 / TCPA projects and be responsible for delivering the planning aspects of these types of projects on time and on budget. Coordination of multidisciplinary deliverables for submission to the client. Input to commercial and programme elements as required. To mentor and train other members of staff. Coordinate internal design, technical, survey and planning teams to help deliver the activities driving Project programme. Input to commercial documentation, including reviews of client briefs or engineering proposals (PROP), Early Warning Notices (EWNs), Compensation Events (CENs), programme and CSR. Engage and manage sub-contractors as required, including obtaining quotes, issuing PO’s and monitoring costs and deliverables (including peer review). Requirements Town and Country Planning.
