Role of a math Teacher: Math teachers are responsible for delivering the national curriculum for mathematics, ensuring that students are exposed to a wide range of mathematical concepts appropriate for their age and ability level. They plan engaging and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. This involves selecting appropriate teaching methods, resources, and activities to help students grasp mathematical concepts. Math teachers maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment conducive to mathematical exploration and inquiry. They manage classroom behavior and promote mutual respect among students. Math teachers offer additional support to students who may be struggling with mathematical concepts. This may involve providing extra help during class, offering after-school tutoring sessions, or recommending resources for independent study. The successful candidate will: Have previous experience working as a teacher within an educational setting. Original or certified copies of your degree certificates relevant to teaching science (e.g., Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Education, PGCE). Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) certificate or evidence of completion of a recognized teacher training program. Hold relevant qualifications or training in education, childcare, or a related field.
