Level 3 Learning Support Assistant

New Directions are currently recruiting a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in the Swansea area with preschool ages. It is essential that you have a Level 3 qualification in a Childcare and/or Play work subject to be considered for this role. As a Level 3 LSA, you will need: Relevant Level 3 qualification Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) DBSregistered on the update service OR you will need to be prepared to complete a new DBS Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities Assist class teachers with maintaining student records Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.
