  • £10 ph Location - Kirby Muxloe Hours/ Shifts -Days and nights 36 hours per week 07:00- 19:00 & 19:00- 07:00 Working hours are on a shift pattern rota basis including some weekend working

Total Community Care are part of the City and County Healthcare Group in are currently looking to expand their fantastic team of Support Workers/ Care Assistants in your area.

You'll either be an enthusiastic person with plenty of patience looking for a career change to bring new life and experiences into our service or you'll be an experienced Support Worker/ Care Assistant with a background in complex, emotional or behaviouralsettings looking for a change and wanting to be part of a team that will make a difference to young people or Adults with complex needs to give them new opportunities in their life both at home and in the community.

We support all difference types of people with Motor Neurone Disease, Muscular dystrophy, Spinal Cord, acquired brain injuries and other complex needs that may include a physical disability, who would like support either on a 24-hour basis within their ownhomes or to access the community on daily basis dependent on their needs and wishes.

Role

We work within the principles of person-centred support, enabling development and inclusion in their everyday lives within their home and wider community. This role involves supporting a spinal injury client within their own home, your work will be variedyou will be assisting with all aspects daily living, providing personal care, moving & handling and assisting with medication.
