We are looking for a highly effective proactive individual with a proven sales track record who has a focus on client engagement and commercial/finance detail that can add value to our customers business and ensure that Verisk Claims UK hit all the required revenue targets.This Account Manager role requires a unique mix of strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, commercial acumen and always taking the initiative in ensuring outputs are delivered on time and to the expected quality.The successful candidate will demonstrate the drive and ability to enhance their knowledge and skills and to leverage these to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team.Success Criteria Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the assigned accounts. Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts.Provide key account management, revenue planning, including pipeline management. Provide commercial insight and liaise successfully with Product Management to provide valuable input on client strategies and Product Roadmaps.Ensure Client Satisfaction and continuous improvement in NPSBuild and maintain effective long-term relationships with key senior-level decision makers and influencers, both within Strategic clients and wider client baseDeliver assigned revenue targetsCarry out regular proactive reviews with the key strategic clientsOverall Responsibility, within assigned Clients, for:Commercial EngagementPipeline and revenue growth, including cross product sales, closing existing white spacesContract retention and renewalIdentifying and defining new service propositions o Account Governance, including SupportDrafting SOW and Contract’s for all ClientsDeveloping and managing strong, symbiotic relationships between Verisk Claims UK, Product Heads, their teams and our ClientsAny other duties commensurate to the grade of the role.QualificationsStrong understanding of the claims processes, understanding of Insurance underwriting would be beneficialStrong general business & commercial acumen; excellent understanding of the insurance and claims industry.Experience with business development, marketing or sales in the software, technology, or insurance industries.Ability to follow through the sales process from initiating to closing the saleAptitude for working with complex software applicationsExcellent communication, written and oral, and demonstration skillsResilient, high energy and output-driven self-starter with excellent time and project management skills. Self-motivated, operate with a sense of urgency and demonstrate high learning agility.
