Job Description The  Belfast  office are looking for an  Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer  to undertake detailed electrical building services designs and drawings for a diverse range of new build projects. Including, lighting, general power, switchgear, IT, schematics, schedules, floor plans and associated specifications. This is an important position within the building services team and will carry the grade of Engineer or Senior Engineer, subject to experience You will work closely with other services team members to deliver a best in class building services design service. The preferred candidate shall also mentor, coach and develop team members as necessary to deliver an excellent client experience. You will be capable of developing electrical design from proposal to completion inclusive of full detailed design in addition to having the necessary experience to ensure the appropriate electrical service design decisions are taken and the client brief is delivered through the organisation and planning of team members as necessary. We are looking for someone that can represent the company at client progress and design meetings and with other professionals and suppliers as necessary.  Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Support electrical engineering team lead in delivery of large multi-disciplinary projects Lead electrical engineering in delivery of medium and small MEP or multi-disciplinary projects Will undertake AECOM MEP deputy project manager role (may also include project manager role) for medium and small MEP or multi-disciplinary projects Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer. Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests. Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments. Identifies discrepancies in results. Provides guidance to entry level engineers. Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision. Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preferably IEng with experience, CEng. Minimum MEng (or Mastrs equivalent).
