Job DescriptionWould you like to provide vital Sales administration/support, in a FTSE 100 business? If you have office experience, in a customer service, administration, or support role, then this is a challenging and varied role that shouldn’t be missed.In this exciting role, you’ll actively support the growth and retention of Legal & General’s Group Protection (GP) business, by providing a comprehensive administration and support service to the distribution team. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join a friendly and welcoming team, that are highly collaborative. You’ll be working in a very niche, and highly valuable, area of the business, where there is ample opportunity for you to develop new skills.What you'll be doing:Assisting in delivering Group Protection distribution targets, by providing sales focused, professional and accurate service that leads to profitable growth. Actively discussing, negotiating, capturing and analysing Intermediary requirements enabling the most appropriate route for both quotations and queries. Actively developing strong relationships with key personnel within the Intermediary firms and proactively follow up quotes as agreed with the account manager, ensuring that all correspondence is logged on the Salesforce CRM system. Daily use of Salesforce CRM system to record own activity and work alongside relevant account manager to use this information to identify opportunities. Maintaining a high level of knowledge of products, trends and developments in Group Protection market and ensure appropriate feedback is communicated to ensure our position in the marketplace is maintained. Assisting in the preparation of materials for and attend Roadshows where appropriate, to ensure customers have a clear understanding of L&G Products. Ensuring Legislative, Revenue, Disclose and Regulatory requirements, which apply, to Group Protection are adhered to and that Legal & General’s standards and policies are upheld.QualificationsWho we're looking for:Office-based experience in a customer service, administration, or support role. (If you’ve had experience in a Sales role then this would be highly beneficial).Previous success working in a dynamic environment, dealing with a variety of different tasks.A high level of communication skills are essential.Attends and contributes to regular team meetings / calls.Able to manage time effectively and display priority planning with the ability to use own initiative and be proactive.Experience of using Teams, Office 365, Outlook, Word & Excel. Develops good contacts internally and externally and negotiates effectively with them.An effective listener.
