The role will be part of the Portfolio Office What You`ll Be Doing Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, including the creation and maintenance of project plans, managing resources, working with third parties and strategic partners.Manage a portfolio of projects including reporting, deliverables, and benefits tracking. Provide best practice and advice on project management frameworks and standards for PMO and wider business. Ensure budgets are managed by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective actionsDevelop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityManage stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment to deliver the projectWork with the business to understand the requirements and scope of the projectManage 3rd party suppliers to deliver to time, cost and qualityLiaise and communicate effectively with IT teams and members of the business at all levels Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on timeMaintain a good working knowledge of other areas of the business, and activities of our competitors; keep up to date with trends and developments within own professional areaShare best practice, and be principled in pursuit of the delivery of a world class student and employee experienceBe efficient - think about the value being generated as if you`re spending your own moneyAchieve any targets and KPIs as agreed with line managerAny other duties as required by line manager What We`re Looking for in You Great interpersonal skills to work well with your key business partnersProven track record for planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervisionExperienced in both agile and waterfall methodologiesExperience of working within a PMO environment Oracle and Salesforce experience is desirable Proven experience of Business Change TechniquesExperience in delivering projects with solutions involving both bespoke and package solutions Able to translate IT speak into clear language that non IT colleagues can understandPMP/ Prince 2 certificationBasic understanding of data protection legislation and experience of developing and maintaining a team environment where personal data is kept protected, confidential and secure What You`ll Get in Return An annual bonus so you can share in the company`s success25 days` paid holidayPension - based on how much you save, we`ll contribute 1% moreFlexible working opportunitiesShared Parental Leave - 18 weeks full payOther benefits include, ShareSave, Bike to Work, Charity Match, amazing discounts and more!
