Science Technician LOCATION: LEEDS Start Date: Monday September 2 nd , 2024. Are you a science graduate looking for an entry level job to further develop your experience? I am working with a mainstream secondary school in North Leeds to recruit a Science Technician to join their supportive Science department. Within this role you will be responsible for supporting with practical Science from KS3 – KS5.  You will be responsible for: -          Preparation of chemicals, materials and other equipment for practical Science experiments. -          Implementing health and safety protocols. -          Constructing equipment, as required. -          Managing stock, including submitting and managing orders. -          Supporting within Science lessons. The ideal candidate will hold a degree within the Science field and or experience working within a laboratory setting, including the management of science equipment and experiments. Contract Details: -          Full time role (Monday – Friday). -          Working hours 8am – 4pm. -          Term time only – in line with the Leeds academic calendar.
