LSA in Tower Hamlets LSA required to work with pupils for a SEN School in Havering on a full time basis. There are opportunities for flexible or long-term work within this school and they are actively looking for an LSA to start as soon as possible. About the role: This is an excellent opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant and well-run SEN school in the Havering area. You will be working 1-1 and in small groups with SEN students who have varying SEN and behavioural needs. This role would suit someone who has worked in either a mainstream or SEN setting with varying aged pupils, ideally at an inner-city school. Previous school-based experience would be desirable and candidates must be comfortable working with all ages What you will need: Experience working with students with SEN or behavioural needs Have a firm but fair approach regarding behaviour management Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service (if not, we can send you the forms) SEN qualifications such as ASDAN are preferred but not essential Teaching Assistant Level 2 preferred but not essential  Passion for Education and personal development as the school can offer Teacher Training pathways to successful LSAs About the school: To promote a culture of educational excellence, from within a caring and secure environment enriched with the values of discipline, mutual care and respect, which extends beyond the school into the wider community.
