They are now seeking a dedicated and organised Administration Assistant with a keen attention to detail to support this secondary school in Newham. This is a full-time perm role, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm. Your role will include:Greet visitors and parents, responding to inquiries and resolving issuesManage incoming calls, emails and inquiries in a professional and efficient mannerProvide general administrative support as and when required by the Office ManagerMaintain accurate student attendance records, follow up on absences and handle attendance-related mattersTrack calendar and schedule appointments for students, parents and staff members efficientlyAssist with various administrative tasks, including handling correspondence, filing documents, managing mail and maintaining student recordsHandle sensitive information with strict confidentiality, particularly student records and personal detailsManage school supplies and coordinate transportation arrangements for school events or projectsSupport the enrollment and registration process by providing information to prospective students and their families, and collecting necessary documentsTo provide administrative support, by agreement, at out of hours events such as parents' evenings, as and when requiredWe are looking for someone with the below skills:Experience as a School Administrator or similar administrative role within a public sector settingStrong organisational and time-management skillsExcellent telephone manner, being polite and courteous at all timesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and school management softwareEligibility to work in the UK is ESSENTIAL (sponsorship is not available with this role) DBS on a update service is a must or willingness to complete a new DBS2 recent relevant referencesYou will be entitled to these benefits Flexibility - Day to day, long term, temp to perm and permanent opportunitiesDeveloping skill set / career progression Your own dedicated and experienced consultant Excellent working environment with supportive team members Earn £300 in shopping vouchers by referring a friend and is subject to terms and conditionsAbout us:Randstad Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, all employees employed within schools are required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
