Football Analyst - First Team (Set-Pieces)

The RoleWe are looking for a Football Analyst to play a key role in the delivery of holistic and rounded football clarity and insight through analysis to our Men's First Team.Your detailed and insightful analysis will make a major contributionto how the Football Analysis teamsets us up for success and enhances our chances of winning in different contexts. You will passionately collaborate with the wider Analysis team and forge impactful and proactive relationships with our Tactical Assistant Coach and First Team Manager. Lead in

the collection and collation of all statistical set-piece and restart

content – you will generate and maintain databases quantifying

each aspect of our set-piece game model

Lead on

the profiling of opposition team set-pieces – you

will add specific analysis through the application of video and analytics

Support

in the preparation of all pre-match opposition content – you

will link closely with the set-piece coach to prepare materials for

players

Handle

critical analysis of training - you'll be actively involved

in the analysis of our set-piece training programme

Lead in

generation training databases – you will generate and maintain

databases quantifying each aspect of our set-piece game model and deliver

training reports to key stakeholders

Lead in

the preparation and delivery of medium and long term Set-Piece Reviews – You

will utilise the information collected and available to deliver critical

reviews to key stakeholders

Proactively

support match-day operations - you'll travel with the team

to all home and away matches to assist in the integration of new live data

streams, troubleshooting of match-day networks and lead in the

implementation of new technology

Collaborate

with our data specialists - you'll form and uphold

successful relationships with our data scientists and data visualisation

analysts to automate working processes

Support

in the collection of training – you will support where

required in the collection and distribution of our training sessions

Champion

new technology - you'll pioneer the use and integration of emerging

technology and AI into our daily workflow and processes

of Set-Pieces and an appreciation of how

they fit within the holistic game
