Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, London, Hounslow Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £83.50 - £100 Per day Benefits: PAYE, no umbrella fees. Skills: SEMH, MLD, ASC Job Duties: Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and assisting with the preparation of teaching materials Working with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to provide additional support Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs Helping to create a positive learning environment and promoting good behaviour among students Supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH), moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and autism spectrum condition (ASC) Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Prior experience working with children or young people in an educational setting preferred Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and the ability to support students effectively Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals Preferred Qualifications: Additional qualifications in special educational needs or relevant field Working Conditions: This role may involve working with students who have challenging behaviour or specific needs.
